Job Summary

The Senior Product Owner is responsible for domain-level ownership and execution leadership of a defined product domain within Allvue’s flagship credit platform. This role holds end-to-end accountability for backlog strategy, PI planning, release sequencing, and functional delivery across complex credit workflows serving global private credit, CLO, and fixed income clients. Operating with high tactical autonomy, the Senior Product Owner ensures strategic roadmap initiatives defined by Product Management are translated into scalable, technically sound, and high-impact solutions. This role serves as the authoritative subject matter expert for the credit domain and drives global cross-functional alignment to ensure predictable, high-quality product delivery.


Responsibilities

Domain Ownership & Execution Leadership:

  • Own end-to-end execution strategy for a defined credit product domain within the flagship platform.
  • Translate strategic roadmap initiatives into prioritized epics, features, and user stories aligned to measurable business value.
  • Lead PI planning, sprint planning, and release sequencing decisions to optimize delivery outcomes across global teams.
  • Independently determine backlog prioritization, sequencing, and execution trade-offs within the defined product domain.
  • Ensure release readiness through proactive coordination across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and design.

Complexity Management & Technical Problem Solving:

  • Serve as domain subject matter expert across the full credit investment lifecycle, including origination, analysis, approval, trading, funding, and monitoring.
  • Resolve complex workflow and integration challenges involving SQL, .NET applications, and interconnected platform systems.
  • Decompose ambiguous business requirements into structured, technically feasible, and scalable solutions.
  • Anticipate downstream system and client impacts when making sequencing and design decisions.

Global Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence:

  • Partner globally with Engineering, Design, Infrastructure, Customer Experience, and Sales to align execution timelines and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Engage directly with clients to validate functional requirements, confirm pain points, and refine solution outcomes.
  • Present, demo, and document functionality for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the authoritative functional voice for the credit domain within cross-functional planning forums.

Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

  • Define and monitor success metrics for delivered features to ensure alignment with roadmap objectives.
  • Assess post-release performance and drive iterative improvements to enhance product scalability and client adoption.


Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to independently operate with high execution autonomy within a defined product domain.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and scaled PI planning environments.
  • Deep expertise in private credit, CLO structures, and fixed income investment lifecycle processes.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and global stakeholder management capability.
  • SQL – Advanced
  • .NET Applications – Advanced
  • Backlog & Agile Planning Tools – Advanced
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, or client-facing delivery within alternative investment technology.
  • Demonstrated full software development lifecycle delivery experience.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred).
