A prolific Applause client is looking for an associate QA Tester who can execute test cases, report bugs and work with development teams on reproducing production bugs. It will be key to have solid communications and collaboration skills. Strong preference for experience in a QA role testing Video On Demand (VOD) streaming services across all platforms.

Basic Terms:

• Role: Associate QA Tester
• Payrate: $12 to $15 USD per hour
• Duration: 12 months; potential annual renewal
• Capacity: Full-time, primarily Mon-Fri, but must be willing to work weekends and evenings as required
• Location: LATAM-based remote with Pacific time zone coverage
• Start date: April 1, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Manual functional testing on websites and mobile device streaming/VOD applications;
• Write, execute test cases;
• Report bugs and escalate as appropriate;
• Actively involvement in QA discussions with client and Applause stakeholders;
• Work with development teams on reproducing production bugs;
• Prioritize tasks and escalate issues to appropriate team managers;
• Attend team meetings.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software QA work experience testing web and mobile native apps
• 1+ years QA testing experience of live streamed events/Video On Demand
• Experience performing Black box, regression, and scenario testing
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or relevant work experience
• Proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects
• Excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with deadlines
• Ability to work on weekends and perform testing during live events.
