QA Project Manager (Agency-facing, consultative, Chinese bilingual)

In support of our Account Management efforts, we are looking for a unique individual to build trusted relationships with our customers, help those customers understand the value of our services, and show them how they can be successful leveraging Applause across their digital experience initiatives. This person will partner closely with our internal teams to manage successful customer engagements.

The person in this role will lead specific customer engagements implementing our SaaS testing solution and services. This position is an integral part of Applause’s long term relationship with its customers and the efforts put forth by this individual will directly impact the value realized by the customer and the ultimate success of the relationship.

Basic terms:

• Type: Freelancer
• Capacity: 15-20 hours per week
• Location: Remote but able to provide (GMT+8) time zone coverage
• Pay range: $25 to $30 USD per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Lead customer engagements implementing Applause’s SaaS digital quality testing solution
• Manage customer expectations
• Plan the partnership path with the customer
• Understand the customers needs
• Work across internal teams, lead meetings, prepare meeting materials, follow up on action items
• Ensure customer and project success by managing completion of deliverables, schedules, customer expectations, and meeting milestones

Qualifications:

• Chinese-English bilingual fluency
• Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• 2+ years experience in software QA
• 2 years experience as a QA Lead
• 2+ years of PM or PgM experience
• Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of the software testing domain, quality engineering, App Economy
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
