Testing Coordinator (UAT & Customer Experience)
Customer Service
United Kingdom
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Customer Journey & UAT Testing Coordinator to organize, execute, and take full ownership of our testing cycles.
In this role, you will be the main point of contact who connects our business requirements, testing tools, and execution. You’ll write and execute UAT test cases, coordinate with distributed crowdsourced testers (uTest/Applause), and work directly with client Scrum teams to make sure defects are caught and resolved on time. You aren't just clicking buttons—you own the testing process end-to-end to ensure a seamless real-world user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing & Journey Ownership
- Test Planning: Review user stories, business rules, and technical blueprints to build realistic "in the wild" customer journey test scenarios.
- Test Case Writing & Execution: Write, organize, and execute functional UAT test cases (Web and Mobile) in Azure DevOps.
- Test Data Setup: Request or generate the test data needed to carry out complex scenario testing.
2. Crowd & Community Coordination
- Test Run Setup: Plan, schedule, and run testing campaigns with crowdsourced testers (Applause / uTest).
- Tester Profiling: Define required demographic profiles and guide external testers through specific journey paths and exploratory runs.
3. Defect Management & Daily Operations
- Bug Tracking & Triaging: Log, monitor, and triage bugs; track fixes alongside the development team to ensure defects are resolved within sprint timelines.
- Daily Status Reporting: Keep the team updated on daily test coverage, pass/fail rates, and environment health.
- Scrum Collaboration: Join daily stand-ups and sprint meetings with client engineering teams to represent testing feedback and priorities.
What We Are Looking For
- Hands-on QA Experience: Strong background in manual functional testing, UAT, and test case management (Azure DevOps or similar).
- Good Organizational Skills: Ability to independently manage your own daily task priorities, track issues through to completion, and organize external test runs.
- Exposure to Crowd Testing: Familiarity with distributed or crowdsourced testing platforms (Applause, uTest, or similar) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong, clear client-facing communication. You are comfortable jumping into Scrum calls and explaining bugs or journey blockers clearly.
- Language: Native or near-native English (written and spoken).
- Availability: 160 hrs per month, Start August 2026
