We are looking for a Backend engineer with 5+ years of experience in building performant, scalable and reliable systems for product companies and startups. The candidate is expected to have strong problem-solving skills with a proven experience of leveraging distributed systems to build elegant solutions to complex real world problems. Should have worked in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Primary Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building microservices with Node.js (Typescript preferred)
• Proven experience with NoSQL and SQL databases such as Mongo, MySQL etc. Adept in database design
• Proficient in building REST APIs using web frameworks (Express.js/Nest.js)
• Should have a solid grasp of HTTP fundamentals
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka etc
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms

Good to have:

• Worked with MERN stack
• Awareness of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Open-source contributions
