EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Platform Engineer Intern in Cloud Platform Engineering Department.

As a Platform Engineer Intern, you are responsible for helping EagleView achieve continuous delivery and supporting developer enablement and cost optimization of our cloud environments. You will be working on several automation projects in AWS, Finops and Product fields ensuring seamless product delivery. In cooperation with software engineers, machine learning teams, and finance, you will use scientific methodology to identify programmatic solutions to achieve objectives that will be executed within the SAFe Agile framework. You should have a programming background in Python or similar, and experience or Knowledge of AI/ML technologies. Additional useful skills would be containerization with Docker, experience with AWS and experience with some form of Infrastructure as Code. Experience with Angular/React would be a bonus. You can function independently and enjoy cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

• Work closely with Platform Engineering teams on developing and implementing automation solutions using Python or similar programming language.
• Contribute to AI/ML/GenAI integration projects to enhance infrastructure capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Devops and cloud infrastructure projects involving AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Assist in monitoring and observability efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and services.
• Help build and maintain dashboard interfaces and visualization tools for platform metrics.
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving challenging problems in an efficient and robust manner.
• Provide regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior team members.
• Optionally, contribute to UI development tasks using JavaScript or React.

Required Experience:

• Completed BA or BS in computer science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or other relevant languages with demonstrable project work and work experience
• Practical understanding and usage of AI/ML concepts and frameworks as applied to software development and DevOps projects.

Preferred Experience:

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Python/Golang or other programming languages.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks as applied to software development
• Proficiency in JavaScript / React / Frontend development is a plus.
• Prior experience or projects in automation or cloud with AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform is highly preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving technical problems.
• Ability to take initiative, quickly take ownership of tasks, and deliver results independently and efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
