Are you ready to lead transformative banking projects that shape the future of financial services in Angola? We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex banking transformation initiatives using Finastra’s cutting-edge core banking solutions.

In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with leading financial institutions, manage SaaS, cloud, and on-prem implementations, and drive success in dynamic, multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle implementation of core banking solutions

  • Deliver complex banking transformation projects in the Angolan market

  • Define project scope, timelines, and success metrics

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer engagements

  • Coordinate internal teams, partners, and vendors

  • Manage data migration, integration, and deployment activities

  • Monitor project performance and provide clear progress reporting

  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance

  • Support business development and contribute to proposals

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT project/program management

  • 5+ years managing core banking implementations

  • Fluent Portuguese language skills

  • Strong understanding of the financial services domain

  • Proven success in high-pressure, multinational environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Angola or similar emerging markets

  • Background in financial institutions within West Africa

  • Knowledge of payments domain

  • Experience with platforms such as Temenos, Oracle, or Finacle

  • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or ITIL

Work Environment
