What will you contribute?


Reporting to the Senior Director, the Agile SDLC Expert designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high-quality software product applications. This position is located in Expert.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Role Summary

The Agile SDLC Expert is a senior engineering governance and delivery leader responsible for institutionalizing Agile ways of working across banking product development teams. This role ensures endtoend SDLC discipline, regulatory alignment, and predictable delivery across complex, multiteam programs operating in Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile & SDLC Governance
    • Define, standardize, and continuously improve Agile SDLC frameworks (Scrum/Kanban/Scaled Agile) tailored to banking and regulatory environments.
    • Ensure consistent execution across requirements, design, development, testing, release, and postproduction support phases of SDLC.
    • Establish entry/exit criteria, quality gates, and definition of done (DoD) across teams.
  • Delivery Assurance
    • Drive predictable sprint and release outcomes across multiple product teams.
    • Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, defect leakage, release readiness).
    • Identify systemic delivery risks early and drive corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder & Compliance Alignment
    • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure Agile delivery aligns with banking controls, audit, and regulatory standards.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing SDLC evidence and traceability.
  • Coaching & Enablement
    • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and teams on Agile best practices.
    • Enable teams to mature from executionfocused to valuedriven delivery.
    • Promote continuous improvement via retrospectives, Kaizen initiatives, and maturity assessments.
  • Behavioral Expectations
    • Acts as a trusted advisor to senior engineering and product leadership.
    • Drives outcomes through influence rather than authority.
    • Demonstrates strong ownership, decisiveness, and riskbased thinking.
    • Balances Agile flexibility with enterprise governance needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12–16 years of experience in software/product engineering with strong Agile SDLC leadership exposure.
  • Deep handson knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, hybrid AgileWaterfall delivery models.
  • Proven experience delivering banking or financialservices products with strict compliance needs.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps integration, quality engineering, and release management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe Agilist / SAFe SPC, CSM, PMIACP certifications.
  • Experience working in largescale, multivendor or distributed delivery models.
  • Exposure to modern banking platforms, APIs, and cloudnative SDLCs.
