About Gnosis Freight:

Gnosis Freight is the one-stop shop for supply chain operations. Our software empowers global importers, exporters, and logistics service providers to simplify complex supply chain operations with end-to-end visibility and execution tools.

About the Role:

As a Software Engineer at Gnosis Freight, you will build and ship features across the Container Lifecycle Management platform, owning work from database schema to deployed UI. You’ll work with real-time tracking systems, visual workflow builders, and data connectors that integrate with third-party APIs, port networks, and carrier systems.

Our platform runs on dynamic, multi-table schemas with millions of records. You will design data models, optimize queries, and build schema-driven UI systems that generate interfaces from configuration, serving thousands of concurrent users across global time zones.

We use AI and intelligent tooling as a core part of our development. With the latest and greatest tools/software available at your disposal.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and optimize complex relational data models across dynamic, multi-table schemas with millions of records
  • Build schema-driven UI systems that generate forms, tables, and dashboards from JSON configuration
  • Develop real-time features using WebSockets, optimistic updates, and sync strategies for globally distributed systems
  • Maintain and extend a multi-tenant architecture with strict data isolation, role-based access, and audit trails
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate logistics domain problems into well-scoped technical work
  • Own features end-to-end, you will touch API routes, database queries, and UI in the same pull request
  • Creating AI-assisted features that help operators surface anomalies, predict delays, and automate routine logistics decisions
  • Participate in keeping production clean and stable, and write tests for your code in our TDD environment.

You May Be a Good Fit If You

  • Have 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and React, including advanced patterns, hooks, architecture, compound components, and render optimization
  • Have built complex data visualizations: charts, interactive drill-downs, real-time dashboards
  • Have strong relational database skills, SQL query optimization, indexing strategies, and complex joins across large datasets
  • Can own a feature end-to-end across the stack and are not precious about where the work takes you
  • Communicate clearly with engineers, product managers, and domain experts, and can translate ambiguous requirements into well-scoped work
  • Operate with high agency, you identify what needs to be done and drive it forward independently
  • Are energized by problems that do not have obvious answers

Strong Candidates May Also Have

  • Experience with AI integration: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, tool-use patterns, and agent orchestration
  • Background building workflow systems: visual builders, state machines, async process coordination
  • Experience with real-time data architectures: streaming, message queues, eventual consistency patterns
  • Track record of performance optimization at scale: millions of records, thousands of concurrent users
  • Experience building multi-tenant platforms with data isolation and role-based access controls

How We Work

  • We believe the best products come from small teams of strong engineers who care deeply about what they are building. We do not optimize for process: we optimize for output. We ship frequently, we learn from real usage, and we iterate with purpose.
  • We are looking for people with style, grit, and good taste who take pride in their craft and do not need a playbook to figure out what comes next.

Gnosis Freight is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a work environment that supports, inspires, and respects all individuals and in which personnel processes are merit-based and applied without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, disability, national or ethnic origin, military service status, citizenship, or other protected characteristic.
