Job Summary

As a Value Engineer for Agentic AI, you will be the strategic translator between Granicus’s AI capabilities and the real-world challenges faced by government agencies. You’ll work alongside sales, product, and customer experience teams to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, and quantify outcomes—ensuring every deployment drives measurable impact for customers and drives enterprise valuation through higher total contract value and win rates.

You’ll bring deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following verticals:

• Permitting and Licensing

• Social/Public Benefit Programs

• Public Engagement and Meetings Management

• Digital Services and Citizen Experience

Essential Function

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Value Engineering & Solution Strategy

  • Lead discovery sessions involving the mapping of current state service delivery models to understand agency pain points, legal requirements, and service delivery goals.
  • Design agentic AI solutions that align with strategic priorities and demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Quantify impact through metrics like cost savings, call deflection, staff efficiency, specific programmatic outcomes, and resident satisfaction.

Technical Expertise & Enablement

  • Translate complex AI capabilities into actionable business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with AI Solution Consultants to support demos, architecture, and integration planning.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on agentic AI, workflow automation, and public sector digital transformation.

Government Process Optimization

  • Apply domain expertise to reimagine and automate services such as permitting, licensing, benefits enrollment, and public engagement.
  • Partner with agencies to align stakeholders, build consensus, and drive change management to support solution adoption.

Data-Driven Impact

  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, validate outcomes, and refine solution strategies.
  • Support post-sale expansion by identifying new use cases and optimization opportunities.

Product Development Feedback

  • Act as a conduit between the field and product teams, sharing market insights, customer feedback, and emerging needs.
  • Help shorten development cycles by identifying high-impact features and use cases.
  • Influence the product roadmap with real-world context and vertical-specific requirements.

Customer Value Realization

  • Collaborate with Granicus Experience Partners and delivery teams to ensure the value promised in pre-sales is fully realized post-implementation.
  • Participate in onboarding and optimization efforts to align solution outcomes with customer goals.

Experience/Credentials:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector technology, consulting, or solution engineering.
  • Proven track record in value selling, business process automation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Deep understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: permitting/licensing, social programs, public engagement, or digital services.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Mural, or other process and workflow mapping capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with platforms like Granicus, Accela, Infor, Tyler Technologies, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with government procurement, RFPs, and implementation cycles.
  • Background in change management, performance measurement, or civic innovation.

Other Job

This is a role focused on revenue growth with variable comp tied to achieving revenue growth targets for NNARR. You will work in collaboration with Granicus Account Executives and be responsible for closing sales opportunities for Granicus agentic AI solutions.

  • ​Developing and delivering effective Pitch, Solution, and Technical demonstrations of Granicus solutions that clearly show how they will help the
  • ​customer achieve their goals
  • ​Building and maintaining a library of solutions, customer examples, supporting collateral, and POCs
  • ​Building and maintaining demonstration websites and assets to be used by our team and others throughout Granicus
  • ​Being a strategic sales and technical resource for the sales organization
  • ​Guiding technical scoping conversations with the agency and our Granicus implementation teams
  • ​Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • ​Maintaining a library of technical capabilities that are used in these RFPs
  • ​Responding to formal customer technical needs, such as Security Questionnaires
  • ​Assisting with sales and our own team's learning paths through content, coaching, and training projects
  • ​Learning the full suite of the Granicus platform through constant training, reading product releases, and internal product discussions
  • ​Assisting with lead generation and marketing efforts through webinar and conference support​

Pay Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
