The Senior Implementation Consultant is a trusted advisor responsible for leading customers through the successful implementation, configuration, and early adoption of iCIMS solutions. This role partners closely with customer stakeholders to understand business objectives, provide strategic consultation, recommend best practices, and ensure successful deployment aligned with organizational hiring goals.

As a senior individual contributor, the consultant leads complex customer engagements, mentors team members, resolves implementation challenges, and drives successful project outcomes while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Customer Consulting & Solution Design

  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business processes, requirements, and goals.
  • Recommend solution designs and configuration strategies that align with iCIMS best practices.
  • Guide customers through process optimization and change management considerations.

Project Delivery & Implementation Leadership

  • Lead complex implementation engagements from project kick-off through go live.
  • Drive requirements gathering, solution design validation, configuration reviews, testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks while proactively developing mitigation plans.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned to scope, timelines, and customer expectations.

Solution Configuration & Product Expertise

  • Configure and optimize iCIMS products to support customer requirements.
  • Act as a product subject matter expert across assigned solution areas.
  • Validate system readiness and support user acceptance testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex configuration and process-related issues.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with project sponsors, business stakeholders, and system administrators.
  • Act as the primary implementation consultant and strategic partner for customers.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and recommendations to maximize platform value.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Project Managers, Integration Consultants, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and other internal teams.
  • Coordinate resources and activities required for successful project delivery.
  • Support escalations and facilitate resolution of customer concerns.
  • Contribute to seamless transitions during go-live and post-implementation handoffs.

Mentorship & Continuous Improvement

  • Mentor and coach Implementation Consultants and Associate Consultants.
  • Share best practices, implementation methodologies, and customer success strategies.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation standards, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives that improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, consulting, professional services, HR technology, or enterprise software deployment.
  • Experience leading customer-facing projects and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong consultative, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating customer workshops, discovery sessions, and executive discussions.
  • Could have successfully delivered end-to-end implementation preferably in HR Tech SaaS or in any other SaaS products.
  • Ability to work in a fixed hybrid model and support late EMEA working hours.

Preferred

  • Experience with HR Technology, Talent Acquisition, HCM, ATS, CRM, or onboarding platforms.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.
  • Knowledge of integration concepts, and HR tech enterprise business processes is a plus.
