About the role
We're looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to turn raw data into insights that support strategic and operational decisions. You'll build reports and dashboards, analyse business performance, safeguard data quality, and partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations.
The ideal candidate has strong SQL, experience in a SaaS environment, and uses AI tools to work faster and raise reporting quality.
What your main focus will be
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and datasets.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights.
- Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports.
- Monitor KPIs across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing and Operations.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance.
- Investigate discrepancies and run root-cause analysis.
- Document reporting logic, business definitions and data sources.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve reporting processes.
- Support month-end reporting and business reviews.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar) to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, generate SQL and troubleshoot.
- Continuously explore AI capabilities to enhance analytics and processes.
What you bring
- Strong SQL — joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, subqueries.
- Experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
- Experience working within a SaaS business.
- Experience using HubSpot for reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar).
