Social media & Community Manager
Marketing & Communications
San Carlos, CA, USA · United Kingdom · Remote
About the role
This is a brand-new role in an established marketing team, built to turn social media into one of marketing's biggest assets. You'll own it end to end, expanding into the right channels for our audience and creating content yourself, not just managing other people's output.
We need someone who can take a perfectly decent LinkedIn presence and turn it into one genuinely worth following: broader reach, a stronger brand, and real commercial return. You'll set the cadence, the tone, and the content itself, and you work with our designer and video creator to add high-production creative on top of what you make yourself. We'll start with LinkedIn, then move into Meta platforms over time.
What your main focus will be
- Own all activity on the LinkedIn company page and relevant stakeholder profiles, including the posting schedule and advocacy programmes via HubSpot
- Create social media content yourself day to day: writing captions, creating graphics, and repurposing videos to create a dynamic and compelling mix of posts
- Own reporting on reach and engagement across every channel you run
- Work with our designer and video creator so their high-production creative supplements your own output across channels, rather than being the only source of content
- Monitor and respond to comments, mentions and DMs across every channel, in a voice that sounds like a real person rather than a brand account
- Spot and nurture the customers, partners and advocates who talk about us unprompted, and give them a reason to keep doing it
- Keep an eye on the wider industry conversation, so we show up in the right comments and threads, not just our own feed, and route any queries to the right person in Sales, Support or Product
- Identify and launch a presence on the right additional channels for our audience, recommending tools as needed; there's budget for the right platform once the channels are chosen
- Bring in and manage freelance specialists where a channel genuinely needs skills outside your own
What you bring
- Hands-on content creation skills: you can write, design images, and edit short-form video and stills yourself, not just brief someone else to do it. The wider team works in Adobe, Figma and Canva, so you need a working knowledge of these tools
- Real experience running social channels beyond a single platform, or a clear track record that shows you could
- Experience moderating, growing or actively engaging with an online community, whether that's a branded group, a forum or simply a comments section that never gets ignored
- Comfort defining direction and building a strategy for LinkedIn and other platforms, not just maintaining one that already has an audience
- The judgement to know when to make something yourself and when to bring in the designer, video creator or a freelance specialist instead
Nice-to-have points
- Experience with short-form video editing tools (for example CapCut or Premiere Rush)
- Familiarity with community or social listening tools (for example Sprout Social, Khoros or Orbit)
- Experience in B2B SaaS, trades, or field service
- Experience in B2C social media marketing

About Joblogic
Established in 1998, Joblogic is the UK's #1 Field Service Management (FSM) software platform. We are a global business with offices in the UK, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Since our management buy-out in 2013, we have grown from ~£500K ARR to £35M+ ARR and expanded our team from 11 to 500+ people.
Recently, we secured a strategic growth investment from Vista Equity Partners — a global technology investor specialising in enterprise software. This investment includes over £100 million in new primary capital and will fuel our next phase of growth by accelerating our AI-first roadmap, expanding our platform into CAFM capabilities, and supporting our expansion across Europe and beyond.
With Vista's backing, we're transforming from a successful UK business into a global scaling SaaS rocket ship, and we'd love for you to join us on our journey to £100M ARR across international markets.
