About the Team
The Compliance Cloud team builds and maintains PSCC, a K–12 compliance platform on AWS that enables school districts to meet state and federal reporting requirements, exchange transcripts, and generate secondary reports across multiple U.S. states.

Role Summary

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based services supporting compliance reporting, transcript exchange, and secondary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• State & Federal Reporting: Build survey submission workflows, validation rule engines, Step Function orchestrations, and SQS-based async processing.
• Student Transcript Exchange: Develop transcript request/response systems, SFTP integrations (e.g., Florida FASTER), Section 508-compliant PDF generation, format validation, and lifecycle tracking.
• Secondary Reporting: Create scheduled report pipelines, configuration, execution logging, and file outputs.
• Data Engineering: Maintain DBT models in Snowflake, optimize queries, and manage DynamoDB metadata and status tracking.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Use AWS CDK (TypeScript) to manage Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Step Functions, EventBridge, and CloudFront; support Yarn/Nx monorepo builds, GitLab CI/CD, and LaunchDarkly feature flags.
• Frontend: Build accessible React/TypeScript UIs with SCSS and Webpack for dashboards, surveys, transcripts, and reporting

• 3+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Use of AI code editor like Cursor, Github Copilot
• Experience working with Database like Oracle preferably or other RDBMS.
• Experience using tools as SQL Developer, Jira and Git.
• Problem solving and debugging skills
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum Teams.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn, grow, and improve
• A passion and natural curiosity for technology

• Good Experience in client-side JavaScript or Typescript and related framework and libraries such as Angular and Jquery.
• Good to have experience in Object oriented programming in Java or Typescript.
• Good to have knowledge of Spring MVC, Hibernate, Webservices
