ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking a seasoned IT Systems Engineer with MDM expertise based in Metro Manila. The primary focus of this role is managing macOS and iOS environments using a modern mobile device management (MDM) platform, alongside responsibilities in Windows support, endpoint management, Office 365, Zoom Phone, hardware asset tracking, and global support operations. This role will work closely with our internal technology teams and our Managed Services Provider (MSP), which delivers 24/7/365 service desk support and global network monitoring across all our office locations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

MDM & macOS/iOS Administration

  • Administer and maintain our MDM platform for managing macOS and iOS devices, including profiles, policies, groups, scripts, and security configurations.
  • Monitor MDM system health, apply updates and patches, and resolve system vulnerabilities.
  • Deploy and update macOS devices and applications; enforce encryption (e.g., FileVault) and compliance standards.
  • Develop and manage configuration scripts (Bash, Python, AppleScript) to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Mac-related incidents and mentor help desk engineers on macOS and MDM workflows.
  • Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities identified through tools like Rapid7 or Crowdstrike.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including system configurations, policies, change logs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Support remote hardware provisioning and onboarding for macOS and iOS users.

Windows Support & Endpoint Management

  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation support for Windows systems.
  • Assist with Microsoft Intune and other tools: deployments, policy creation, app updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Support remote provisioning and imaging of Windows devices.

Network & VoIP Systems

  • Serve as the Manila-based escalation point for Meraki network infrastructure.
  • Act as the Manila-based escalation point for Meraki network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with the MSP to manage local network issues, enhancements, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Administer Zoom Phone: manage licenses, call flows, end-user onboarding, and resolve telephony issues.

Asset Tracking & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of global hardware inventory, including device assignments, returns, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Reconcile inventory for both remote and in-office users in accordance with compliance and refresh policies.
  • Collaborate with procurement and support teams on device logistics, audits, and asset reporting.

Email Migrations & Licensing Support

  • Support email and data migrations (e.g., Google to Microsoft), and document the process thoroughly.
  • Assist with software license tracking, audits, and support IT budgeting efforts.

MSP Collaboration & Global Support

  • Partner with our MSP for escalation handling, knowledge sharing, and ensuring a seamless global support experience.
  • Monitor ticket flow, resolve incidents, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Coach Help Desk staff on endpoint tools, macOS management practices, and escalation processes.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for macOS and iOS lifecycle management, across both hardware and software.
